  This is my new favorite Deli to get my hot pastrami sandwich. Everything on their menu sounds delicious. Wedges are made to order with deli sliced meat and the Mac n cheese with bacon was creamy delicious. The atmosphere is nice and I am definitely returning.

  my boyfriend & i found this deli by chance. definitely a good spot to get a great sandwich! it's a bit out of the way but nothing to worry about. be sure to order your sandwich in a wedge.
  
  the last time we were there, we tried their chicken cutlets finally after a while of them running out. surprisingly we weren't that impressed & my boyfriend's cutlets were a bit pink & squeaky- not a pleasant experience. however, we've never had a problem with any of our orders in the past. we'll probably avoid ordering anything with chicken cutlets & we'd be good to go.
  
  my boyfriend is pretty much IN LOVE with their bleu ucello sandwich.  their meatball sandwich is huge & delicious! be sure to give it a try. we definitely wish they were open on weekends!

  Out of the way when I came off I-5, but worth.  Fresh meat,fresh bread. Great bacon and Mac cheese.  Had the #4 - tasty but huge.  Should have gone with 1/2.  Will come back.  
  
  8/9:  I have been here twice since my first review and so far they are consistent.  This last trip had the Mac and cheese with pepperoni (very nice) and their Rueben.  One of the best.

  Can't believe I haven't left a review for this place yet.  I've been here many times.  They are now my favorite sandwich place in Salem.

  Wow, what a great, fast, friendly, well-priced and out of the way spot Cozzie's NY Deli is.
  
  I was visiting Salem on a Friday and wanted a sandwich I could take to Silver Falls. This place came up but I was very confused with the location. Then I realized that this serves the industrial workers in the area on the outskirts of town. Even when busy the place was very clean, fast and friendly. Lots of parking in front, seating for about 14 people or so inside with a bright white NYC theme.
  
  I loved my sandwich, which had real sourdough bread. I keep it simple with turkey, lettuce and tomato, dry with no sauces, no cheese. They got it perfect the first time, and loaded up the tomatoes unlike many places. The meat was of very high quality (you can tell it was from an animal recently, rather than those jumbled looking cuts you often see).
  
  The ordering was easy, as was the register. This team really has it down and can probably kill any lines quickly. You could tell there were many regulars. At under $8 for the sando and chips, I was sold.
  
  Head to Cazzo's NY Deli for any and all sandwich cravings.
